There’s a thing that’s going around which goes something like this:

“Coming October 17, 2008 the sun will rise continuously for 36 hrs (1.5 days). During this time the American countries will be dark for 1.5 days. 

“It will convert 3 days into 2 big days. It will happen once in 2400 yrs. 

“We’re very lucky to see this. Forward it to all friends.”

Now when i saw this for the first time, i thought to me self. ROFL

But after a serious thought, I realised I shouldn’t jump to conclusion that fast, so i wented on the internet and used my trusty google.

And then, I educatedly ROFL’ed.

For the above to be true, the earth would have to physically stop spinning on it’s own axises. And that’s physically impossible. Though nike did say, nothing’s impossible, so that day could be an awesome advertising day for them.

I don’t know why people would actually go around passing things like this. 

But if this is true, then damn, what wil I do for 36 hours

I’ve taken an interest in the news lately. I’m getting daily news update in my email and also on my phone. When ever I get bored, i shall read a few headlines.

What i’ve got, are nothing but bad news. That or Obama calling Palin a pig.

I’m sure the media doesn’t mean to do it (haha yea.) but there are so much bad things happening in the world that just makes you think what kind of world we living in? Death from all sorts of freak accidents happens all the time. Death by another happens to and sometimes in the freakiest fashion. Rape, assult, robbery. It goes on. 

Especailly the rapist, they are the most disgusting, one news which i heard that made me literally said WTF out loud was this american man raped he’s own daughter, ok that’s already sickening enough, but the girl was 8 days old. yes 8 DAYS. WTF. someone please correct me if i head wrong, but that 8 days just sounds f***ing twisted. 

Even if u stay away from the news, you can’t help being terrorized. All over the place the media tries to make you be scared of something. Last time I was driving home and on the radio I suddnely heard this:

“Strange throughts? Call ######### Sane helpline”

So if you have any strange thoughts at all, your insane.

And there are many other medical ads, telling you to eat their medicine. 

“Tired? you better use this~!” “Do you breathe a lil too fast? You better use this or u will die of breathing too much!”

Like someone once said, all of this are trying to get you off the illegal drugs and use the perfectly legal government drugs. 

I guess sometimes, ignorance is bliss.

Also currently reading the hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy, interesting book i recommend it to all male who loves some witty humour. (as it’s been proven, no girls like this book)

One thing that it said in there was:

<Capricorn> Jay Chou’s nineth Album

魔杰座 is the chinese name. Again Jay continued he’s style of using people’s name or number in he’s album titles.  This time it is an awesome smart play on the word 魔蟹座. Clearly showing off he’s magical talent, hoepfully this album is just as magical as it’s seeming to be. 

The first song on the album is called 稻香. Which losely translates to the smell of wheat? haha. This song is both  composed and lyrics written the Jay himself, so expect great things from it. 

The pre-order of this album starts on the 24th of Sept and the pre-ordered editions has a rubix cube as a special gift, so keep an eye out for that~!

This time, i went for the basic basic clean look, with a easily changable header. 

Since i’m lacking inpirations lately, this header will give me some hopefully. I shall be creating different images for the header depending on the mood, date, or anything else I feel like so it could be a whole different look every month, every week or even everyday

In the past 24 hours i’ve been the biggest computer geek ever, asking around about every single part in a pc, hopefully getting a best deal i can.

Now the list is all done and ordered through netplus and i’m going to go pick it up tmr. Hopefully all goes well and get it up and running by tomorrow night.

Right now it’s 11.55pm, and i thought I’d check the tv guide to see if there’s anything good on tv. Like always, there’s nothing good on tv in australia, just as I was about to leave the page, i saw this:

ok, it is late at night, I guess they are allowed to show AV stuff on tv….but what really caught my eye was the rating next to it… (G)… It’s rated G for General audience, that means everyone can watch it. 

Ok, two things went through my head, was the rating guy really really high, or do they just mean general audience who watch tv at this hour of the night…

Anyway, so i had to read what the show is about, to see why it’s rated G…

Ben Cropp takes viewers beneath the surface to discover amazing creatures with weird and wonderful sexual behaviour. See an exotic dancing worm that has a penis inside its mouth which is sharp enough to harpoon its food, a busy little cleaner fish that changes sex to control a harem of females, a father sea horse that incubates the mother’s eggs in his pouch, and a rare paper nautilus with a penis as large as his body which he releases like a missile to home in on the female.

to that, i rofl.

But how often do you see him with english subtitles, english voice overs and a CNN logo on the left hand side.

haha, i’m suprised and proud for no apparant reason, haha

I have to say, he did really well in this interview. He looks/sounds nothing like the up themselve super stars we normally see, seems just like a down to earth guy that does the same things as we do…until.. we see him get into he’s merc. haha.
