“I really like you more than a friend”

These few simple words, took him months to find the courage to say.

He slowly looked up, into her beautiful eyes, heart thumping. He wished she could say something, to break the silence.

She heard what he had said.

Took her awhile to process what she just heard.

They are friends, good friends in fact..

She smiled.

The smile on her face at that moment seemed to be brighter than the sun.

He liked what his seeing, he hoped that smile will stay with him for the rest of his life.

Smile is a good sign.

It means something positive.

He is going to get a positive feedback, he knew it!

At that moment, his heart seemed to be already out of his chest. This moment, he waited for so long. Day and night, he’s dreamt of this split second, and the eternity that’s up ahead.

The memories of them together as friends flashed back.

Them on the beach, without holding hands. Them in the cinema, sticking strictly to their own compounds. Them in a restaurant, sitting beside each other instead of facing. All that is going to change, he just knew it.

The smile continued, in fact it progressed. It widened. It kept on going.

From a smile, it slowly developed into a small giggle, and from that to a full out laugh.

He isn’t smiling anymore. All the images shattered. His heart digested.

Staring blankly at her, he needed an explanation.

She tried to control her laugh, she saw his expression and realized he isn’t getting the joke. She tried to think about bad memories which will stop her from laughing.

She did stop.

Looking at him, she said, still with a faint giggle :” Haha, your funny, you nearly tricked me there”

He is stunned.

“Your like my brother~! That was pretty funny how you said it, haha~!”

“Why did you do that, it was so out of the blue.”

He is and will always be stunned.

“Ha..ha.. you got me….I was just…Playing…loh” Replied with a smile that took all his strength to force out.

“Want come in then?” She offered

“Yea alright”

Walking in, following her, looking at her back, at her hair. Someone he will never get, someone he will never forget.

They are all pleased and satisfied.

Walking towards the light of happiness, hand in hand with their significant other.

He, staring into the shadow, dumbfounded.

They kept on walking, without turning back.

His wings suddenly felt so much heavier, his arrow seemed to be as blunt ever.

He created happiness, he knew that.

The happiness in front of him are all due to his brilliant aim.

Why, for so long he couldn’t figure out, happiness does not find him.

As he waves good bye, in the reflection of his tears, he saw.

He is the cupid, and one can not fire arrows upon it self.

Watching them leave.

He returns to sharpen his arrow…

The University Asian powers come together in a massive allied event. 2000+ university students will gather at the holy grail of clubbing functions: Metros City. This is one event that will set new benchmarks in 2007. You don’t want to miss this.

This event will be on the 27th of April. Too bad for me, i won’t be 18.

Belinda Emmett, aged 32, has just lost a battle wit cancer 7am this morning [date: 11th of Nov 2006].

Much loved Australian actor Belinda Emmett has lost her battle with cancer, dying at the age of 32.

She died at Sydney’s St Vincent’s Hospital shortly after dawn with her husband, television host Rove McManus, and her family by her side.

“It is with great sadness we advise that Belinda Emmett’s battle with cancer has ended,” her family said in a statement.

Somehow this hit me hard again. Never expected her to die…so quickly, as i didn’t even know she had cancer.

Rove MacManus is her husband and i love that guy, his the best tv show host ever and i never miss his show “Rove Live” every tuesday night. And since I see him every Tuesday night, it seemed like we knew each other. He always talks about his wife on the show, so it seemed i knew his wife as well. Therefore the death of Belinda Emmett punched me in the face real hard.

Rove has cancelled his TV show for now, as he needs time to come face the reality. Which i am fully happy about, he need to take a break from the whole public and be on his own for a while.

I would just like to say R.I.P Belinda Emmett and best wishes from the bottom of my heart to Rove MacManus and his family, hopefully you guys will get through this just fine…peace.

Steve Irwin, aged 44 died today, from an Stingray. As people have said:”he died doing what he loved”

This person, has became an australian icon, his famous “uniform” and the saying “Crikey” has made him become an household name. This down to earth wildlife lover had an accident while he was filming an documentary.

He has lived a very full long, although it was long enough for everyone, but i’m sure his gone through a lot more than average person’s 3 life times..

You are a legend..
