“Hey there you are~!” Screamed Travis, “Come over here”

Travis waved over the crowd to he’s friend.

“Wow your really busy tonight ay? hehe, have time to chat to me?”

“ofcourse ofcourse, it’s important for you to come tonight”

“You know I have an assignment to rush right? Pull me out to a pub, on an important night like this, it better be good.”

“definitley bro, I really need you to come tonight” reassured Travis.

Travis, a man with many friends, still always depend on one of them, he’s best friend. Most of he’s important decisions that he’s ever made has gone through he’s best friend. They are so close, it sometimes makes couples jealous, they are so close that sometimes their parents question their sexuality.

“So what do you need me so urgently?” Questioned the friend, he really didn’t want to be here tonight, but this random feeling inside of him tells him that it’s going to be something good.

“oh you know, you will see mate”

“if this isn’t going to be fast, i’m leaving, the assignment i’m doing is very highly weighted”

“no no, don’t leave just yet, she’s here soon.”

“She? o0o0o so it’s a girl thing ay? Why didn’t you say so ealrier, alright mate, i shall wait with you and check out this girl.”

“hehe, oh there she is~!”

“Hey~! over here~!” Called out Travis once again.

The night has finally started for Trav. He introduced the two friennds of he’s and the night went on with a lot of laughter and even more drinking.

Trav’s happy to see both of he’s good friends are clicking well.

The laughter and chatting seemed to have dissolved the time away, she left just as fast as she came.

Travis looked down at he’s friend, with a cheeky smile on he’s face.

“So what do you think? She could be my potential girlfriend.”

“Wow, she’s is awesome. The prettiest, smartest, cutest, nicest girl i’ve ever met.”

“HA~! slow down there Will, if any more compliments from you, I’d reckon your interested too.”

And all of these images ended in laughter.

These images have been replaying in Travis’s head for ages now, it never seems to be gone.

Every time it’s quiet, that night just pops right back into he’s head. 

And everytime it comes to an end, he uncontrollablly smiles.

Watching them drive away wasn’t a good feeling. Abigail felt sick to the stomach. 

Was it the fact her sister was leaving with her boyfriend? 

Or the potential of her sister getting hurt, because she knew Will’s true intentions.

It’s times like this, times where she has no idea what her head is doing, times where she can’t think anymore, times where she feel like running away into a loud place to drown everything else away.

It’s time like this, she seek refugee at this local pub. The Three Monkeys.

After entering, she went straight to her favourite seat, the one that’s closest to the door. No one hangs around at the door, so she won’t be disturbed. She also reckon that in case of an fire, she will get out the fastest, but that’s a totally different story.

“Hey Abi, haven’t seen you for ages, where the hell have you been?”

She looked up, that face, that very familiar face, she felt bad just looking at it.

The guy’s Travis. A nice, lanky kind of guy. He’s very friendly to everyone, every single person in the world seems to be he’s life long friend, even if they’ve just met. That’s the reason he became a bar tender, he’s people skills got the bar lots of extra bucks. Sure, with he’s good people skill, he could definitely land a much better job, with a 6 figure salary. But he liked the night life, he liked talking to people and he loved serving drinks. (one for you and one of me is he’s golden policy). 

Abi knows Trav only because she use to frequent the bar, alone, just to chill. Some time to herself. 

But after dating Will, she never felt the need to go there anymore, because Will was her best refugee. She could just lie next to him, and all the worries would just dissolve away. 

“Hi Travis~! Your still working here?”

“Haha, yea why? Not good enough for you?”

“No no, it’s just.”

“I love my job, and that’s what counts right? loving something?”

“hehe, yea i guess” Replied softly by Abi, and thought to her self. “Yea, another person to tell me about love”

“So how you been?” Asked Travis

“Yea you know, same old same old.”

“How come your back here? You’ve fully ditched me after you found that Will of yours, hehe. How that going ay?”

On that note, it’s the last straw for Abi, she came here to get it all out of her head, but with that chord stuck, she couldn’t help her self, and tears start to roll down her cheek.

With the lighting of the pub, Travis couldn’t really see, but he saw enough to know what’s going on. He then quickly passed her a shot of vodka.

“I know i always tell you to not drink so much, but here, take this, always help me to clear up things”

“hehe thanks..” Looking at him, cheerfully passing over the drink, that caring look in he’s eyes. This is the 依靠 she’s looking for. 

“So do you want to talk about it?” enquired Travis. Maybe that’s why everyone loved him, he always took an genuine interest into people’s troubles, helping them to feel better.

“Um..”

“It’s ok if you don’t want to, i understands.” Maybe that’s also why everyone loved him, he never pushes things. 顺其自然, he always said. 

“Thanks trav, maybe this is what I needed, a few shots of vodka”

After that, she downed the vodka, the twisted face caused by the taste appeared on her face, but somehow it look as if it’s erasing away the sadness that was permanently there for the past few days. 

“Maybe you will accept my help after a few drinks ay?”

“Maybe…”

And the night went on, Travis went on he’s work, chatting to all the customers, and once in a while, comes back and checks on Abigail, also passing her another drink. Normally he wouldn’t let her drink so much, as a bar tender, he knows exactly what alcohol can do to a person. But today is different, because he also knows alcohol can make people feel better sometimes. He let her drink to her heart’s content. He knew that he’s going to look out for her if anything goes wrong.

“Travis?”

“Yes abigail? What’s up, need another round? It’s on me don’t worry.”

“I think i just had about enough tonight….When do you knock off work?”

“Um.. at 2am, why?”

“want to go for a walk with me?”

“Walk? are you sure? in your state? don’t you mean carry you?”

“Hehe, no just for a walk, need some fresh air, you know?”

“Don’t you need to go home?”

“no, please come~!” *does the puppy eyes*

“Fresh air? I will take you for a ride then, hows that? you don’t have to work, and you get some air.”

“ok~! =D”

As Travis helps Abigail out of the bar, into he’s car, she leaned onto he’s shoulder. That feeling she hadn’t felt for a long time, it was a great feeling, it reminded her of Will. As a habit, she put her arms around the guy she’s leaning on without even thinking about the fact that it’s not Will. 

Travis didn’t expect it coming, but as a drunk person, he didn’t think much. 

Looking down at her, he felt sorry, he had to do whateva she wants tonight, to keep her happy. 

Looking up at him, she felt happy, she didn’t want the night to end, and go back to think about Will.

With the top off the s2000, they went off, into the shiny moonlight. 

Time of the year again, another last min committee video, hopefully they keep up this tradition

Yes, the long wait is over.

<Capricorn> Jay Chou’s nineth Album

魔杰座 is the chinese name. Again Jay continued he’s style of using people’s name or number in he’s album titles.  This time it is an awesome smart play on the word 魔蟹座. Clearly showing off he’s magical talent, hoepfully this album is just as magical as it’s seeming to be. 

The first song on the album is called 稻香. Which losely translates to the smell of wheat? haha. This song is both  composed and lyrics written the Jay himself, so expect great things from it. 

The pre-order of this album starts on the 24th of Sept and the pre-ordered editions has a rubix cube as a special gift, so keep an eye out for that~!

Haha, really have no materials lately, and seriously, I don’t think my day to day life is interesting enough to be on the internet. But today i saw soemthing which really made me laugh..

Right now it’s 11.55pm, and i thought I’d check the tv guide to see if there’s anything good on tv. Like always, there’s nothing good on tv in australia, just as I was about to leave the page, i saw this:

ok, it is late at night, I guess they are allowed to show AV stuff on tv….but what really caught my eye was the rating next to it… (G)… It’s rated G for General audience, that means everyone can watch it. 

Ok, two things went through my head, was the rating guy really really high, or do they just mean general audience who watch tv at this hour of the night…

Anyway, so i had to read what the show is about, to see why it’s rated G…

Ben Cropp takes viewers beneath the surface to discover amazing creatures with weird and wonderful sexual behaviour. See an exotic dancing worm that has a penis inside its mouth which is sharp enough to harpoon its food, a busy little cleaner fish that changes sex to control a harem of females, a father sea horse that incubates the mother’s eggs in his pouch, and a rare paper nautilus with a penis as large as his body which he releases like a missile to home in on the female.

to that, i rofl.

We are all use to watching Jay Chou on taiwan channels, Chinese channels, etc. 

But how often do you see him with english subtitles, english voice overs and a CNN logo on the left hand side.

haha, i’m suprised and proud for no apparant reason, haha

I have to say, he did really well in this interview. He looks/sounds nothing like the up themselve super stars we normally see, seems just like a down to earth guy that does the same things as we do…until.. we see him get into he’s merc. haha.

We haven’t heard form this guy for a while now, and with just under a month till he’s album’s release, along comes this duet with Gary (the ex member of NQMM).

Im my opintion, the song isn’t that good, especially that guy’s voice. but I guess that’s he’s style and some people like him for that.

For me, just enjoy jay’s rap haha

A tragic crashed happened just after 9pm last night near the intersection of High rd and Valand ave.

I read that just then, and wow it’s a total different impact when it happened so close to me.  It was a car full of 5 teenages aged 17 going out on a fun night. Clearly the night ended early for 3 of them, and the tragic night will go on for ever for the other two.  The drive along with 2 other passengers died upon impact and the other two survivors are being treated at the hospital for serious injuries.

The cause of the crash was currently being deemed as speeding. Which is the most common factor to our road toll. And looking at the situation, a nice BMW totaled(wrecked) and a bunch of teenagers, speeding is probably the first thing that pops into everyone’s head.

As a teenager myself, as a driver myself and as a person who loves the feeling of high speed. I’d have to say, maybe this crashed weren’t all factors of speed. There are many other external factors which can’t be controlled. Forexample five 17 year olds in a car excited to go out to the town, one split second of distraction could cause this accident. Though I can’t deny the fact that if they were slower, even the distraction happened, they wouldn’t slam on to a tree with that much force.

It’s never a good thing when you HAVE to learn from other people’s mistakes, but I guess we will have to learn a serious lesson from all of this. The limits set on the road is for a reason, follow it. (though they say there’s a 10% discrepancy hehe…

You know what we need in Perth? To reduce all the P platers death on the road, we need an affrodable racing track for anyone to just sign up to, and the younglings can just go there every so often to get the ‘need for speed’ out of their system! So they will drive safer on the roads.

RIP for the people invovled in the accidents.

Another Will Smith movie.

Another one about him being the odd one out.

Another one about him saving the world.

Is it all the same? Boring? Lame?

…

Not this one.

Hancock is one of the best films i’ve seen the whole year.

Ok, maybe it’s not a WOW movie with terrific effects and all, but I loved the storyline, I loved the main characters and it was just a nice film which in the end made me smile.

The movie started off being a pretty normal super hero film, Hancock jumping into the scenes and saves the day. Pretty simple and same old same old.

And then there’s the introduction of the other main charaters. You will obviously notice the relationship between Hancock and the main girl.

When I saw that, i thought to myself:” oh come on, do they have to make it that obvious, 20min into the film, and we already know what was going on”

But after the movie’s finished, i realised why they did that, because behind all of the obvious hint, are things I’ve never thought of. I was impressed at the way they wrote it. Props on that.

The photography through out the film was not fancy, but it was simple and to the point. All the dolly, long, closeup shots completes the movie and convey the ideas they need.

The ending was great. Although it was another happy ending, but it was typical.

After 90 mins of seeing the super hero on the screen helping everyone, you kind of don’t want it all to end in tears.

The most well shot scenes were the last 10min or so. And i reckon it was also the best part of the movie, ties everything back together. Also a struggle between Personal Affairs with World’s Future.

Some people thought it was too short. But i reckon it was just right.

To watch this movie, I think you have to go in thinking it more as a drama instead of a super hero flick, as honestly, there were about one real super hero scene though out the whole movie.

But like i said, the movie made me smile, and that’s a god thing after a movie.

Overall, I give it a 4 out 5.
