Guess what…I’m back.

The past two weeks have been hectic. Didn’t have a single stopping moment.

It was tiring, it was stressing sometimes

but DAMN it was fun.

Two friends came over to perth, so had to bring them around. Haven’t been a tourist for ages, its just fun to take pictures of everything.

The other thing is a project i’m working on. Atm i won’t tell you guys, maybe it will be all done and exposed in six month time. Yea, it’s a quite big project.

Two years ago, a simple phone call, made this mid year holiday great. It was a harmless phone call. It was a normal conversation. I invited her to come over to visit without expecting much.

Two years later, i’m standing in the arrival terminal of the airport, awaits her to come out.

The two weeks have been one of the most productive and most fun weeks I’ve ever had.

There were laughter, there were tears, and there were reminiscing.

I learnt a lot about life, about me, about others, and everything.

It was great.

First two days was a trip down to Margret River. The weather on the first day wasn’t really on our side. Driving down the freeway at 60km/hr due to the heavy hail, you could barely see 5m in front. The boring three hour ride went by pretty fast, and we arrived at our cabin. It’s bloody tiny, but cosy.

The three days and two nights spent there was so much fun. By day, we went out like tourist, being interested in even the grass by the side of the road. By night, we sat around the square table, playing drinking games. Talking crap. It was great.

Other than Margret River, times were spent going to many places and doing not much but relaxing, it was quite fulfilling.

This is a great time, where you truely realise, how dead perth is as a city. We always found ourselves, at 2am, sitting there in the car, thinking about what to do. Many pubs are closed, and the only thing we had left was billy lees in city.

One that we got so bored, we even went to the adult shop (& club x)at 1am in the morning…and guess what, even that is closed. WTF. I thought that’s the time where it should be open :S

This is suppose to be a post about me re listing the things we did, but now i realise how boring it would be for people to read.

I shall just let it sit in my head for me to drown myself in.

(oh and alcohol does great things to people, haha)

Anywhos, The two weeks are done, i’m back to my normal boring life style. Should actually concentrate to study again.

After all that.

Looking back i guess it’s quite fast, but hey, it’s always like that.

Holiday now, but quite boring ay :S

What did we miss?

Well, Germany lost at euro cup, it was really dissappointing, but what can you do, luckily I didn’t bet, haha

and also,something else i really wanted to say

Have you noticed, while walking along the streets, you will alway see a very good looking girl holding hands with someone who isn’t as good looking, or ugly if you must. So you would question yourself, how did a guy like him end up with a girl like her? Maybe girls are just not as shallow. It’s simply a miracle. And then you look at the person that’s holding your hand, and realise that you are in such a micacle yourself. =)

lol..this post will not have any structure, i cbb just haven’t bloged for ages, lost my touch i guess

This upcomming holiday, i shall be very busy from the 17th of July till the end of the month, so I guess if you want to organise something wid me, better make it before the 17th

Other than that…..that’s it

2008, May, 12th.

Twenty eighth minutes into two o’clock.

Millions of lifes were turned upside down at that moment.

A huge 7.8 Earthcrake struck sichuan Provence in China.

As to now, Over thirty thousands people have perished within the cracks of earth.

I’m sure you all have heard about it…

I’m not here to talk about it.

I was deeply cut when I heard about the news. Natural disasters happens all the time.

The cyclone in Burma took so many more lifes, but this particular one happened in my mother land. The place where I spent more than half of my life on.

Let our prayers go out to everyone effected…

On the other note tho. What really effected me is to see everyone sending out a helping hand.

Everyone, came together really fast to help.

Some volunteered as helpers, some donated huge amount of money.

My home Provence, one of the poorest Provence in china, has already collected over 100million in donations.

It really touched my heart to see everyone helping out strangers like that.

What especially tragic about this event is it happened in the afternoon, and most of the kids were in school.

One story that nearly made me cry:

A three month(years? forgot >.<) baby was saved out of the rubble, he was holding onto a mobile phone and on the phone it was a message typed by he’s mum. It said :” baby, if you can survive through this, just so you know, I love you”. The mother died, in process of trying to protect her baby.

There are millions of stories like this.

Natural disasters are not stoppable, so why not change our mourning and sadness to something useful. Help out, and donate money to this tragic event.

It’s time like this, that make you realise….

So i got the blue screen of death…

Pissed at the whole situation, I decided to give ubuntu a try. I’ve always wanted to do it, and this screen just pushed me over the line.

So after hoursand hours of downloading, installing, etc etc

I got ubuntu started working:

Everything worked fine. and it’s got some awesome on board programs, so i was delighted, but what didn’t work well was the wireless net, somehow it just won’t work.

After hours of questioning, hours of coding lines…

I gave up.

But i wasn’t going to give up on linux, so i did this:

openSUSE 10.3 was my next move

Wow, this distro is great. Got all the programs I wanted. the skin looked great, and the interface is simple enough to operate.

But again, the internet doesn’t work.

After another few days of questioning and lines of coding…

i resulted in this:

Here I am, back to XP again.

I question my self. Linux being so good and everything, but it just isn’t user friendly.

Windows XP, one click, internet working.

I guess linux has it’s own pros, but windows working for me perfectly right now (with maybe once in two years bsod), why do i need to change right?

Lectures are so bloody boring that no one actually listens, why they are there? so they won’t feel guilty about not attending.

One day, when i was bored, and checked out around me, i realised that, to my right, some dude playing the DS. infront of me, some guy playing paper ball soccer, to my left, a couple is getting snuggly, to my back, two guys talking about something which i forget, and it definitely wasn’t math.

Yea, uni is great

It’s 2am in the morning, and i feel the need to rant.
(if you are easily offended, or you are rich…don’t read on)

Personally, i grew up from a middle income family. Living a life of normal-ness, nothing fancy, but still well fed and lived. It was a great life. Do i envy the life of others, whom bathed in money? Sure i do. But all the money are earned by their hard work, so they deserve to enjoy and embrace it.

Nowadays, hanging out with rich kids, realizing, the ones from before that can always buy a few more holo-graphics Pokemon cards are now going off spending their money on something else. (And I use this term “their money” very loosely, because, com’n, it’s not really their money, it was just given). When they grow up from a family that never sees money as a problem, never learns the true value of money. “I get what I want”.

Ok, sure, you have money, you can get anything you want. I say good for you. I’m fine with that, you were lucky to be bone in the family. But what ticks me off are the ones who goes off buying luxury things and then shoving it in your face.

Random: Oh look, I bought a million dollar brick of gold.
Andu: oh yea? nice, it’s shiny
Random: It is isn’t it~! I love my ONE MILLION DOLLAR brick of GOLD.
Andu: hehe, alright.
Random: Should i hold it in my left or right hand? By it i mean my ONE MILLION DOLLAR brick of GOLD.
Andu: it doesn’t matter tome
Random: Why not? but it’s a ONE MILLION DOLLAR brick of  GOLD.~!
Andu: I know just a place where i can shove it.

Yea, just have to rant it out, if your rich, good for u. If you can buy anything you want, nice~! Please don’t brag, it make you look like a dickhead and no money of yours can get rid of that title.

Is this blog written out of jealousy you ask? Ofcourse.

(but more as a look up to their parents who can actually earn the money, and looking down at the kids wasting it)

P.S oh, and after their bragging, you tell them they are rich, and they denies it and go:”No i’m not~! i’m hell poor, your richer~!”… i wonder what good does that line do, are they hoping by saying that, it means they are modest?

Why did I make my life so packed with things?

I guess i like the busy life style, but not when everything has a deadline, and in the end you have no time to do anything

I wish i could just escape from everything, and just lie there, looking at the stars with you.
