Out of all the animal videos I have seen recently, my favorite is that of a kitten being scratched on her belly. There she is lying on her back when this big hand enters the frame. A quick tickle of the belly and the kittieies claws clasp the human hand. When the hand moves away the kitties paws splay out as if it’s wanting more. At which point the human starts talking baby-talk to the kitty. It is so cute. He goes on and on, and after a while it’s obvious that the little kitty is responding to only the hand. It’s one of those moments that makes you want to run out and buy a little kitty. However, I have to remind myself that just because I see a great animal video doesn’t mean that I’m compared to own a pet. There’s a lot more to pet owning and all fun and games.
