J-J-JAY~! CHOU~!

Haha, yes andu is excited…

Half of my trip was spent in Singapore. Lets start of by saying, Singapore is a great country/city. The cleanness is awesome :D The people there are friendly, and you can walk around alone at 3am in the morning without being worried about anything at all.

But this post is about JAY CHOU, as i’ve talked about Singapore before on my last visit there, to read it, check it out here.

The highlight of my Singapore trip would have to be the day dedicated to Jay Chou.

18th of Jan, 2008, The day Jay turns 29.

The day started at 10am for us.

All wearing matching shirts (VIP club of official jay forum), we headed off to the airport, to pick up the great star. By picking him up, I mean going there and screaming out heads off, he didn’t actually come with us :(

As we had connections, the airport wasn’t very packed, because the time of Jay’s arrival was quite secretive. But the press still has their way of finding out things.

At the airport, with the huge banner representing AUSTRALAIA

I think this is the first time i saw him in flesh. And let me tell you, he’s cooler than ever~!

That’s how close we were to him, and the camera wasn’t even on zoom~! haha.

As he appeared, I froze.

As he walked past, I froze.

As he walked towards the exist, as everyone was running after him, I still froze.

As he’s car left for the hotel, everyone all slowly walking back, with the joy on their face after seeing jay, i still froze.

Walking away from the departure gate, everyone talking about what to get for lunch, I still completely froze and totally out of it. Haha, my brain did no function for one hour, it was in a state of total blank, that feeling was weird…haha.

After i snapped out of the weird state

After the airport, we all got ready to go to the indoor stadium, the place where Jay would be holding his world tour concert. He is nice enough to hold another concert on he’s birthday, everyone’s praising him to be so nice to his fans and etc, but if you think about it, who would say no to a few mil dollars birthday present? haha. By singing 3 more hours, he’s profit would increase by astronomical amount once again…

Protected these things with my life for a few days

On the MRT going to the place

The time which we arrived was way too early, so we camped outside, singing jay songs, and spending out money without thinking on merchs.

Fans from Australia

We weren’t alone tho, well there were plenty of us, but Jay joined us too~! Well, a fat fat inflating Jay of course.

After seeing the great man, gota hug him right

Many people wanted to steal it :P so did I, but we left he be in the end, we such awesome fans…

The hours were killed by us camwhoreing around the place, and it was mostly with dat big fat doll~!

The clock struck 6.30am and we were allowed to go up the stairs and start lining up to go into the stadium, being AWESOME fans, we were the firsts in line~!

And to kill more time, we started to sing Jay chou songs at the top of our lungs again, never been so high before~! haha, and to make sure people know aussies were there, Ken and I were screaming “Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi”~!

The result, instead of people coming to us asking for signatures, since we were foreigners~! Even our own people ditched us and pretended they didn’t know us, So cut~!

My precious~!

When the time was right, we were allowed to go in side, and get the party started~!

First in again~! yay~!

I <3 you

The whole concert went for 4 hours, a total of 27 songs i think. Many of them are he’s new songs mixed with some all time favourites.

What was disappointing was that he didn’t sing “Jian Dan Ai”, he’s signature song.

But even so, people still loved him. Everyone were screaming, jumping, waving non-stop. The atmosphere was so much better. No wonder why people pay money to go concerts, even if they are so far away from the stage that they can’t see anything, the atmosphere is not something money could buy.. (well you could, buy a ticket and u got it, but you know what i mean)

Jay also displayed his ability to play multiple instruments. Guitar, Piano, Drums, Gu Zheng, etc etc. Musical genius i tell ya.

And guess what, Jay Chou even learnt how to dance~!

The whole concert was a blast, something i won’t ever forget, and if you ever get a chance to see him in real life, i suggest u to go~! Seriously~! it’s worth it~!!!
