To the rest of the world, they are just another good relationship gone down the drain. People simply forget about them after a few days.

A few “aww you will be fine”

A few “there’s more fish in the sea”

and a few more “Don’t worry, she/he wasn’t right for you anyway”

All that are meant to make people feel better…. really?

Abigail, not use to this whole ordeal, really feels like they’ve broken up. She has no idea what to say to him anymore, and he never calls her at night anymore.

It’s only been two days, would he really forget about her that fast? If he did, then he wasn’t worth having in the first place.

As day drags on, Abigail hates the idea more and more. She tried calling him, ask him to change the plan.

*ring … ring … ring..*

*”"The person is currently busy, please call back later”"*

That’s what she gets everytime.

Is he really ignoring her?

Is he that cold hearted?

Abigail knows Will quite well. Well enough to know he’s a stubborn person. Once he’s mind is set, nothing is going to move it.

She knows that for a fact.

But a part of her wanted that to change, she wanted…no, she needed this to stop.

Every night, she sits in her room, with her door locked.

With the night light he gave her, on their first month.

She stares into it blankly, hours at a time. Dreaming about all the time they had together.

Sounds corny, but that’s what happened.

It went on for a few nights…

*knock knock*

“I’m busy studying~! Please don’t disturb me” Abigail shouted, with the anger from such disturbance causing her to lose track of her thoughts.

“Abi, it’s me, open the door”

“Go away~! This is not a good time, I have to rush an assignment”

“Hehe, I’m holding your bag right now, you left it by the door when you came back….now tell me, how are you doing assignment without anything?”

“Damn it.” “What do you want?”

“Just want to talk to you lah”

“This really isn’t a good time”

“Com’n, just open up~!”

Abigail really didn’t want to talk to anyone, but her sister is being extremely annoying.

She dragged her feet to the door, opened it up.

“What do you want” She questioned

“Com’n, lets talk. I know why you’ve been upset lately…”

“Yea, you think you know everything”

“Haha, of course I do. Just because he dumped you, doesn’t mean you got be all ‘end of the world’ right?”

“How did you know?”

“Well, he hasn’t been coming around, you haven’t been on the phone at night… and you haven’t been talking or smiling”

“…”

“It’s alright sis, he wasn’t right for you anyway”

There goes that line again, what does that even mean? How does insulting someone I still love makes me feel better… Abigail never could understand.

“er..ok”

“So yea, cheer up~!”

“Thank you….you’ve made me feel better now, now please leave”

“No no, I didn’t come in here to cheer you up…well that wasn’t the main reason.” *hehe*

“I knew it, what do you want?”

“You know how Will is single now..”

“Yea?”

“Um… um…” *blush* “Um..”

“Spit it out”

“Can I get he’s number off you?”

“ARE YOU SERIOUS? My Own sister is moving onto my boyfriend?”

“EX~!”

“But he’s like….three years old than you”

“Love has no boundaries my dear sister”

“Don’t say that in front of me, give me the creeps”

“Com’n, just give me he’s number, I’m just helping you to forget him for ever and ever”

“”I shouldn’t let him play with my sister, what if he breaks her heart? I can’t let them go out…I can’t even let her get in contact with him. I should just let him do he’s own thing for the 15month….”" Abigail thought to herself.

“Thanks sis~!”

“What?…”

Abigail’s phone is lying on the bed next to her, on the screen, showing Will’s name highlighted…

Her sister copied down the number without asking.

“That girl~! Come back~!” She screamed.

She could never let her sister get involved into this whole thing.

A cruel human experiment shouldn’t hurt more than one person…. Herself.
