Horror News 30-Aug-2008
A tragic crashed happened just after 9pm last night near the intersection of High rd and Valand ave.
I read that just then, and wow it’s a total different impact when it happened so close to me. It was a car full of 5 teenages aged 17 going out on a fun night. Clearly the night ended early for 3 of them, and the tragic night will go on for ever for the other two. The drive along with 2 other passengers died upon impact and the other two survivors are being treated at the hospital for serious injuries.
The cause of the crash was currently being deemed as speeding. Which is the most common factor to our road toll. And looking at the situation, a nice BMW totaled(wrecked) and a bunch of teenagers, speeding is probably the first thing that pops into everyone’s head.
As a teenager myself, as a driver myself and as a person who loves the feeling of high speed. I’d have to say, maybe this crashed weren’t all factors of speed. There are many other external factors which can’t be controlled. Forexample five 17 year olds in a car excited to go out to the town, one split second of distraction could cause this accident. Though I can’t deny the fact that if they were slower, even the distraction happened, they wouldn’t slam on to a tree with that much force.
It’s never a good thing when you HAVE to learn from other people’s mistakes, but I guess we will have to learn a serious lesson from all of this. The limits set on the road is for a reason, follow it. (though they say there’s a 10% discrepancy hehe…
You know what we need in Perth? To reduce all the P platers death on the road, we need an affrodable racing track for anyone to just sign up to, and the younglings can just go there every so often to get the ‘need for speed’ out of their system! So they will drive safer on the roads.

RIP for the people invovled in the accidents.

Olympics, started, ended
It’s gone by so fast.
16 days of competiting finished.
Olympics is a way the world promotes discrimination.
Even when your giving out medals, the gold medalist will be standing higher up, looking down at everyone. The song of their national athem will play to once again, rub it in everyone’s face.
I didn’t watch many of the games, as I had uni and work most of the time, but just watching the medal count was good enough.
One thing that happened tho, during the games, showed how much the news team tried to create a story that really isn’t wothing trying.
I truned no the radio and this is what i heard:
[Serious tone]”The votes are in!”
I’m here thinking, oh wow, something serious going on!
“Who is the best looking athletes of the olympics games?”
followed by.
“Be sure to watch it on today tonight at 7pm on Seven…
No body knows news like Seven..”

Part2:
Beijing Olympics

Today is the 4th of Aug 2008.
This friday is 8th of Aug 2008.
The day that’s writton as 08.08.08. As they say, 555 is human, 666 is the devil and 777 is god…then….
888 is the freakin awesome lucky number of china. (not saying 888 is bigger than 777, but meh)
Being a Chinese myself, i’m actually quite excited and proud about such event. Never before has china hosted something so big. This is a great time to show the world that we are not a bunch of ‘peasants’ living in a smoke blogged country.
This event is about harmony, about sport and about everyone comming together and trying their best at the things they love. In the past months, there’ve been political and natural events occuring which could have put an shadow over such awesome event, but we should all put that behind us and look ahead.
Another things that’s associated to the olympics and that’s been talked about is this:

Did you know when you connect the name up, it actually says Bei Jing Huan Ying Ni (Beijing Welcome you).
Now, those five things…..What are they exactly?
You know 5 mascots are actually the most number of mascots ever.
Anyway, back to the main thing… what are they?
Human? Animal? Nature? Objects? Colours? WTF are they???
well the blue one looks like a kid with blue hair, which i reckon prob represent water.
The second one is a panda.
The third is a….kid with her/he’s hair on fire?
Fourth is…some orange thing.
Fifth is a kite….stuck on the head of a lil child…. WAT?
Lets hope they work out to be ok
Anyways, I can’t wait to watch the opening ceromony… Sounds like a boring thing to watch, but gota do what u gota do..

Time Flies
Guess what…I’m back.
The past two weeks have been hectic. Didn’t have a single stopping moment.
It was tiring, it was stressing sometimes
but DAMN it was fun.
Two friends came over to perth, so had to bring them around. Haven’t been a tourist for ages, its just fun to take pictures of everything.
The other thing is a project i’m working on. Atm i won’t tell you guys, maybe it will be all done and exposed in six month time. Yea, it’s a quite big project.

Two years ago, a simple phone call, made this mid year holiday great. It was a harmless phone call. It was a normal conversation. I invited her to come over to visit without expecting much.
Two years later, i’m standing in the arrival terminal of the airport, awaits her to come out.

The two weeks have been one of the most productive and most fun weeks I’ve ever had.
There were laughter, there were tears, and there were reminiscing.
I learnt a lot about life, about me, about others, and everything.
It was great.
First two days was a trip down to Margret River. The weather on the first day wasn’t really on our side. Driving down the freeway at 60km/hr due to the heavy hail, you could barely see 5m in front. The boring three hour ride went by pretty fast, and we arrived at our cabin. It’s bloody tiny, but cosy.
The three days and two nights spent there was so much fun. By day, we went out like tourist, being interested in even the grass by the side of the road. By night, we sat around the square table, playing drinking games. Talking crap. It was great.
Other than Margret River, times were spent going to many places and doing not much but relaxing, it was quite fulfilling.
This is a great time, where you truely realise, how dead perth is as a city. We always found ourselves, at 2am, sitting there in the car, thinking about what to do. Many pubs are closed, and the only thing we had left was billy lees in city.
One that we got so bored, we even went to the adult shop (& club x)at 1am in the morning…and guess what, even that is closed. WTF. I thought that’s the time where it should be open :S

This is suppose to be a post about me re listing the things we did, but now i realise how boring it would be for people to read.
I shall just let it sit in my head for me to drown myself in.
(oh and alcohol does great things to people, haha)
Anywhos, The two weeks are done, i’m back to my normal boring life style. Should actually concentrate to study again.
37, 3546, 4624….
and I will leave with this
“我们都会幸福的”
