“Shi Shui Qiang Zou Le Wo De Mi Ke Feng…” that song has been played over and over again for the past three month that it’s well grown to become a part of my system. Roughly three month ago, the 9 of us started to prepare for the mid-autumn festival performance, in our head, it was always, all good, it’s still 3 month away. That though floated there for about 2month and half, till we suddenly realised that performance was in two weeks, and we done jack all.

The girls made progress, but the guys were just slacking off until the dead heat moment. But all is good as the performance went pretty well in my opinion.

The work that’s gone into this performance was incrediable, and a lot more so in my case, as we even spend nearly 1 hour to teach me how to breathe properly. And it was right around my mocks period, so double the workload. *poor irene, had to dance and mocks* But we had some awesome teachers on board, so it made the whole process a lot easier.

The big day approched like a rocket. Faster than anyone expected, seemed just like yesterday that I actually found the courage to sing outloud infront of people, and tomorrow is the performance infront of millions of people. [ok, maybe a few hunderd only, but to create atomsphere, lets just say there’s millions]

This is the first time ever that i can remember to stand on a stage and performance, so as you should understand, I was pissing my pants…Few minutes before going on, i couldn’t breathe properly and felt like throwing up, that’s how bad it was. But luckily i had people with me and they comforted me. I wasn’t nervers because i was going on the stage, as i wasn’t scared of performing nemore, but i was scaried as I wanted to do good, not just plain “ok lah, it was ok” but “Damn that was awesome”.

The starting

After getting on the stage, saw all the smiling people in the front row, i calmed, and it helped me to perform. And was it good or not? I thought it was fairly ok, and i just felt very happy for myself that I didn’t chicken out. But you should judge it for yourself..

The whole performance went by very fast, a lot faster than i expected it to be. But what can you do ay. All the hard work spent on it, gone in a tiny 3min. Waste? definiatly not, it was great fun, even the meeting up and getting together to practice was awesome. And spending 3 min with all of my awesome friends and sharing the spot light with them, and seeing people smiling and clapping for you, worth a lot more than 3 month, it was simply priceless..Thanks guys.

No that ain’t makeup, just my hair, i did get put on some lipgloss tho…grr…
