That’s the conversation that happened the most today. Today, my first day of working at Ko Sing chinese resturant, and let me just descirbe that in one word:”My feet is killing me! and i can’t count no more :(”

Today, first time for me to work with people, as in customer service related, and i was shating myself, as people are some scary bunch. I didn’t know what to expect, except for the fact that “Customers are always right”.

After a whole days of work, i’ve realised that the hardest thing to do is to take orders, and i suck at it since I have no idea what each meal is called, so i just have to write random things down, and hope that the cooks will understand what da hell i’m on about, even if i don’t understand it.

Awesome thing is that I learnt how to use a cashier machine, you know what, i always wanted to operate a cashier machine, that clicking and poping out of the money tray just give me the trills yes i’m an odd one.

And also got my first tip today! so proud, it was a whole 10c! can you believe it! 10c!!!!! i’m rich! although i didn’t pocket it, it was in the cashier machine, meh

Overall, the day was great, and what made it better was the fact that I am actually getting paid today, prob due to the fact that I actually worked, not standing around and learning. so yea. great

Today i thought it was hectic, but i was so wrong, tmr will be a new day with a lot more customers we will see how that’s going to be like. I do not regret in making this decision of working, as I get to experience a lot more new things, and experiences (good or bad) are always good

Belinda Emmett, aged 32, has just lost a battle wit cancer 7am this morning [date: 11th of Nov 2006].

Much loved Australian actor Belinda Emmett has lost her battle with cancer, dying at the age of 32.

She died at Sydney’s St Vincent’s Hospital shortly after dawn with her husband, television host Rove McManus, and her family by her side.

“It is with great sadness we advise that Belinda Emmett’s battle with cancer has ended,” her family said in a statement.

Somehow this hit me hard again. Never expected her to die…so quickly, as i didn’t even know she had cancer.

Rove MacManus is her husband and i love that guy, his the best tv show host ever and i never miss his show “Rove Live” every tuesday night. And since I see him every Tuesday night, it seemed like we knew each other. He always talks about his wife on the show, so it seemed i knew his wife as well. Therefore the death of Belinda Emmett punched me in the face real hard.

Rove has cancelled his TV show for now, as he needs time to come face the reality. Which i am fully happy about, he need to take a break from the whole public and be on his own for a while.

I would just like to say R.I.P Belinda Emmett and best wishes from the bottom of my heart to Rove MacManus and his family, hopefully you guys will get through this just fine…peace.

I here by wish Cath a happy birthday! enjoy being [x] years old. (once again, will not disclose due to internet security reasons). It’s been great knowing, I know i’ve brough you all these annoyance (all them teasing ya) but yea, sorry, my bad, they are just gay haha

Another chapter of my life has just concluded, another new day tomorrow, another new path to take. As the main character, I am not sure how am I suppose to feel at this moment. Scared? Happy? Excited? Shocked? Disappointed? Fantastic? or even aroused amazed at this whole ending.

My journey at Rossmoyne Senior High School, started on the first day of second term of year eight. It was fairly hectic, i was just transfered from Kent St Senior High School, and moving into a totally new environment was very un-easing for me as back then i was extremely shy, so fitting in was one of my concern.  To my great surprise, it was actually really easy to fit into such a big group of people. What strikes in my mind of the first day for me was pretty hilarious. First it was the general disappointment of me as the “new Andrew”. As I registered into the school in term 1 last term, i thought I’d finish term 1 first at my old school and then transfer. The ESL teacher heard the news of this new kid going into her class, so she spread the news onto the class. The whole class was expecting a hot guy to sweep them all off their feet. And all they got was Me. As I lined up outside the ESL class room for the very first time (ESL was 3rd period, and was 20m away from my first 2 periods, but trust me, it took alot more than 20m of walking for me to find it), I met my new group of “potential friends”… I sense one of them, looked me, and then scanned me from head to toe. As if I was some kind of item. And then she broke the ice with:”Oh, so your Andrew.” with a very disappointed expression on her face. “yea” is all I did say and all i could have said. That person was named Yiling, and she became one of my awesome friends *even tho I wasn’t hot*

Yes, that was my welcome into this awesome school.

Further more, on the first day, Harshana (another one of my awesome friend)

He punched me in the face on the first day, yes right in the face, and i think it made me nose bleed too, can’t remember, as it was so long ago.  It was an accident of course, but that was kind of the foundation of our friendship. 不打不相识嘛.

My two WARM welcomes, brought me into this school for five years (ok fine, 4 and 3 quarters). It has been good fun, although there were tears of both joy and sadness, it has been an awesome roller coaster ride which I never want to get off. But all good things comes to an end, or 没有不散的宴席. All so true. Guess that’s life, sometimes just need to let go of the old things and discover the new and exciting future awaits us.

On the other hand. It hurts to leave such great group of people, such wonderful “community”. 5 years is a long long time, and the past 5 will be something I never forget. Although there were some enemies and un-known people in the “big family”, most still are good friends and hopefully will still be in the future.

As the old country road comes to an end, new super high ways open up in front of us. We need to keep our head high, and walk forward Hopefully in 2011, I will see this group of awesome people ONCE again.

*Valedictory tonight, just came back from it, and it was the LAST event our year 12 group will be doing together, was fun tho, got presented sashes :D*
