For those of you who still lives under a nice little rock, irk stands for Irene and ken On the 5^th of August those two love birds had a combined party, which was a hit. I am partially recovered from the party (yes..partially….as my legs are hurting so much, due to a game that we played…which looked something like this)

The day started at 8:15, yes 30 min before normal, because I had to pick up Shan, and I didn’t want to be late. Chinese school is always what that’s been starting my Saturdays and I guess I can say it’s a pretty awesome way to start, except for the working part ofcourse.

Everyone dreaded through the two and half hour or painful work. Most of us were so excited that a party is coming up that we continuously made so much noise, the teacher was on the verge of murdering us all The day proceeded, went to the karaoke class, fun as usual, with all da dancing and singing until 12:30 where the real things begins Being popular as I am, (hehehehehe) everyone choose to sit in my car to be driven to Irene’s place, and this gives her a few min to do the last min cleaning. I drove with ken’s directions safely to ken’s place to pick up some food for the party, on the way it was filled with Shan’s complaint of me driving too seriously and too tense, which I don’t agree fully, but hey, I rather be that than be too relaxed which might just result in nothing too good.

The party started with just the following people:

We started with an exploration of Irene’s house, have to say it’s one nice house big rooms, big house, clean and everything, it was awesome. And Irene’s room was so colour coordinated Just after a few min of exploration, someone came back home, someone that I’ve meant to meet for a long time, because everyone being *insert random sound here* about it, so yea, it’s such a long story which I won’t go on telling. Her name’s Catharine, Irene’s little sister. She’s one of the prettiest person I’ve met (including u too Irene ;), and also note the word ONE OF ), but yea, since all the ppl made such a suss out of it, she was too embarrassed to even come out to see me, likewise to me too, but hey, the introductions were made after a long struggle so it was all good. While all these are happening, the food was being prepared and set out on the table out side, to my great surprise it was sushi which made by Irene’s mum. It was magnificent! Looked and tasted just like how they would sold it in the shops, it was sooooo nice, but being nice people we are, we left a few for the late comers.

What’s a party without games? And seriously tho, I’ve never have thought being mature people we are, we’d actually play…let me rephrase, we’d actually enjoy this game The name of the game is people staking, or what we like to call it “you know the one where you stack people on chairs and move around and stuff”, yes, that’s the official name. I think it is invented by Irene, but correct me if I’m wrong. To start the game, you get a number of chairs and put it around in a circle. Each person sits on the chair and one of them stands in the middle. The middle person will have to ask a question, or produce a statement which requires yes or no responds. Everyone who says yes will have to move onto the chair to the left. If there’s someone on there already, I guess you just have to sit on them. And to win the game, the middle person will have to move everyone back on to a chair, meaning there won’t be any stacking. Sounds weird and boring? Oh trust me, it’s an funny game, well funny and painful! Lol. This is the first game we played at the party, and it was hilarious, people being evil as they are, asked cath to join and made her to sit nxt to me, and Rachel..the little sister, was onto me as well, so she asked something that’d make cath move, which result in sitting on me. And guess what she did? She ran away in disgust/embarrassment, leaving me sitting there asking myself, “I’m not thaaaaaaaat bad right?” lol. Well guess I am if I can scare ppl like dat. After a while, the embarrassments were forgotten and the game went on pretty well, until I was stacked on cath… I didn’t want to sit on her, as I don’t want to crush her, so I kinda squatted, but then 3 other people stacked on my later, and I had to held like that for so long, my both legs were shaking uncontrollably afterwards *refer to the first picture on this entry* but all in all, it was great fun

That activity kinda worn all of us out, so we went back in and started to take random pictures, by random, I mean…RANDOM :), for example:

Through out the party, I had to drive around to pick up a few people, but the most memorable one was picking up Labelle and Hui…on the way back, it was kind dark and we had to cross this main road. I stopped there to wait, and ken said ok, you can go, no cars, so I accelerated and tried to cross the road, but just as I started, I heard this in a fairly calm tone:”oh, there’s a truck coming” and what was going through my mind was: “wow, truck, nice…wait..not nice, I’m on the road, I will be crushed into lil pieces, what do I do????” and nxt thing I know, me food is right down on the accelerator…..Luckily for all of us, I’m still alive to type this entry, but thinking back, it gives me goose bumps.

When everybody arrived, we started to BBQ. And also the normal birthday stuff Firstly was the cake

The cake was made by Irene’s dad, awesome ain’t it? There was 18 candles on there, so 17 for Irene and 1 for ken, yay. They shared the cake and blew the cake at the same time oh wait, I meant blew the candle at the same time >< (rofl..blew the cake….wtf was I thinking) anyway the wishes were made and song sang, when all the normal birthday stuff were out of the way, the screaming comes :) hehe, an old tradition of ours.

The presents were opened after that. I always wanted to surprise both of the birthday babies on that day, I made ken a surprise which is http://www.anduz.net/happybirthday. But i don’t want Irene to feel left out, so Ken and I came up with this.

*I take a box of chocolate from irene’s presents and take her to private, and this is how it went*
Hui: alright people, lets gather here and let them open the presents
Andu: *yells out* Irene! Come here for a sec please?
Irene: *puzzled look*
Andu: *brings her to a spare room, and talks really seriously and shyly* um…does cath like chocolates? What kind does she like?
Irene: um…y?
Andu: well, *shows the box of chocoloate from back* this is for her
Irene: from who?
Andu: Me
Irene: …
Andu: can you give it to her for me please?
Irene: … are you serious?
Andu: yeas…..
Irene: *eyes on fire, I can so see her picture my horrible horrible death, and I realize I shouldn’t go further than that*
Andu: *laughs* sorry, just kidding, this is for you lah!
***note, through the convo, you can see irene’s expression going from happy to confused, to huh? to wtf! To oh you are so dead Andrew Zhang.

Yea that’s how it went, hehe, she was so freaked out….seroiusly >< sorry Irene, all out of fun lah :) Both of them loved their presents, which is good good and good :) atleast all our hard work didn’t go to waste.

The night concluded with a game of truth or dare around a fireplace while roasting mush mellows. Mel and I wasn’t so into playing that game, so we weren’t planning to joing:

But in the end we decided, it’s a party, so might as well join.

The dares done were pretty funny, which includes

-Eating onion [I suggested eating one whole onion, but others being so nice, only made Hui eat 1 slice :S]
-Dancing like a chicken
-Eating Duran pudding [maybe good for you, but disgusting dare for me]

Too bad nothing interesting was found out during truth tho…we didn’t even get to find out what would cath do if I asked her out….:P:P lol

The WHOLE DAY ended at around 10:30 and after sending a few people home I reached home at 11:00. Have to say, that was one awesome day, haven’t had so much fun for such a long time >.< why can’t my life have that every single day, sigh.
